Film photographs capture more character and soul than digital photographs. Film has feeling.

Film photography is not for the rushed or the conventional. It’s for the romantics out there, the people who love softness and drama and light and the waiting game.

Using 35mm film allows me to capture you in creative and original ways, and even though it is frankly a pain in the rear to use it, I will never turn back. I’m a sucker for the colors, the depth, and the charisma that film images offer - and I’m assuming you are too, if you’re here.

It is impossible to know how your photographs look until I get them back from the lab.

(That being said, I aim for a minimum of 20-25 photographs per hour.)

Short answer: I have a 6-8 week turnaround time right now.

Long answer: I only work with trusted labs, and depending on mailing times and their developing time, it can vary when I get your images back.

If your photographs come back faster, you better bet I’m getting them to you sooner. :)

Your non-refundable deposit is 30% of the total cost of the project, due upon contract signing.

I am mostly based out of Calgary, Alberta, and happy to travel to nearby towns and parks (Canmore, Kananaskis Provincial Park, etc.).

My heart is always in Montana, where I’m from, and I’m eager to work with clients in that neck of the Rockies! Please don’t hesitate to message me if you’re in Central or Western Montana.

Travel costs are factored in when I give you a quote.

It’s hard for a lot of folks to make ends meet these days, and I get it. Some (but not all) things I am potentially willing to trade for my photography services:

• Art (prints, paintings, ceramics, especially if they’re made by YOU)

• Homemade goods (Jam, eggs, honey, preserves, sauces, etc.)

• Film cameras and lenses (I know your grandparents have some squirreled away in their attic)

• Art classes/creative courses

• Hair styling services (curly girl skills required) and/or other beauty treatments

• Credit at local businesses
